Airtel - India's largest telecom service provider launches Flash Lite

Airtel which is India's largest telecom service provider today launched Flash Lite content via their WAP portal - Airtel Live!

They have a upto 4 pages of Flash Lite games listed which are priced at the Indian Currency of Rupees 50, - a good enough rate for single A titles. Currently the games are supported on S60 2nd Edition and 3rd Edition phones. For those users holding older devices, instructions are provided to visit the Adobe website to download the player before playing the games.

The launch may see its set of teething problems but atleast it reflects the Indian community's acceptance of Flash Lite content for their Flash enabled handsets.

It says:-

F110: Sorry! The selected content currently not available for your handset. Please try later.

I have FlashLite 2.1 installed, not sure of browser plugin...

I have post-paid Airtel plan? Does it only work for pre-paid customers?

But why I am asking these to you, should shout on Airtel guys..

BTW! I saw Cryptic Capers there and wanted to play it, even though I don't play games but it's FlashLite :)

Yes, there seems to be configuration issues for a few handsets. Airtel is looking into this. Hopefully it should be solved by tomorrow.

Airtel business ethics are not proper

They are the only authorized seller of HTC Touch, Price worth 20,000 and if any customer shows interest, he is forced to purchase the same without giving any demo of the piece. This is very ridiculus and unethical

Can't Airtel afford to keep the demo piece or its like they have started taking customers for granted.

A policy should be in place such that you cannot sell any mobile phone virtually, you are suppose to show live demo to the intrested customers. You cannot take customer and his money for granted , forcing him to puchase without even have a look at item he is purchasing and that too worth Rs 20,000
